Nashville based singer/songwriter Shannon McNeal uses whimsical wordplay to captivate her audience. Her music combines the catchy elements of pop with the raw energy and feeling of folk.
Shannon has an impressive performance record and has taken the stage at the Island Hopper Songwriters Festival, Smoky Mountain Songwriters Festival, Folk Alliance International, and many more. She was named a semi-finalist in the International Songwriter Competition, a semi-finalist in the Song of the Year contest, and a semi-finalist in the Nashville Rising Song competition twice.
McNeal released her second full length album, "Growing Pains", in August of 2022 which follows a theme of growth and change. With her natural storytelling ability and easy onstage persona, Shannon is on a quest to gain a spot in the soundtrack of people’s lives.
